[Japanese] Nakagawa Toshichika was born in September 1935 in Hokkaido, Japan, and graduated from the Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Advanced Nursery. In 1962, she published her debut work "Bu Bu Yuan", which was hailed as a "revolutionary shock to the children's literature world" and brought her great reputation, winning multiple awards such as the Sankei Children's Publishing Culture Award. My main works include the picture book series "Guli and Gula", "Seeds of Sky Colors", "The First Snow", "Six Little Foxes", fairy tales "Pink Giraffe", "Eiluda Returning Home", as well as theoretical works such as "Me and Picture Books" and "Book · Children · Picture Books".
Yuriko Yamawaki was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1941 and graduated from the French Department of the School of Foreign Languages at Sophia University. Originally named Momoko Okumura, she changed her name to Yuriko Yamawaki after getting married. She is the younger sister of Nakagawa Li Zhike, who illustrated her sister's fairy tale "No, No Garden" in high school. The main works include the "Guli and Gula" series, "Seeds of Sky Colors", "Mr. Bear, Mr. Bear", "Sunday of Little Green Lion", etc. Yamawaki Yuriko and her sister have co created many popular works that have been loved by children for decades.
