It summons a magnificent feeling to the depths of the times and the soul, summoning contemplation and determination.

 

Shen Shixi's original name was Shen Yiming, and his ancestral home was Cixi, Zhejiang. He was born in Shanghai in 1952. In 1969, he went to settle in the Dai village of Mangguang Lane, Bangkok Brigade, Menghun District, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province. I have lived in Yunnan for a full 36 years. I am currently a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a council member of the Shanghai Writers Association, and a member of the National Children's Literature Committee. The animal novels he wrote integrate storytelling, fun, and knowledge, full of philosophical connotations and unique style. Multiple works have been included in the People's Education Press and local editions of Chinese language textbooks for primary and secondary schools. The work has won various awards such as the National Excellent Children's Literature Award, China Book Award, Soong Ching ling Children's Literature Award, Bingxin Children's Literature Award, Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award, and Taiwan Yang Huan Children's Literature Award.
