Storage type electric water heaters have relatively low requirements for installation conditions, but they are bulky; The water storage temperature is generally high; The heating time is relatively long, and sometimes there is not enough hot water or the hot water cannot be used up, resulting in waste; To meet different consumer needs, multiple capacities and types of models need to be designed. The corrosion and scaling issues of water storage tanks have always been a prominent problem that troubles the development of the industry, especially in areas with poor water quality. Instant electric water heaters use the principle of flow heating technology and do not require storage of hot water, so they are compact in size and light in weight. In terms of appearance design, they break free from the constraints of large volume and are superior in terms of aesthetics and fashion. Instant electric water heaters have high power, fast heating speed, no need for preheating, can be turned on and heated immediately, and are quick and convenient to use. Due to the fact that instant heating has almost no inner liner, there is no need for insulation, resulting in minimal heat loss and energy saving. Another major advantage of instant heating is that the heating water temperature is low, which basically avoids the corrosion problem of water on the water heater. Gas water heater is the earliest water heater that appeared in China. It uses gas or natural gas as fuel and generates heat energy through combustion to heat water. The water temperature can be adjusted by adjusting the inlet water volume, and the heating speed is generally fast. However, the exhaust gases such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide produced by gas combustion are directly discharged indoors, which can easily cause gas poisoning. To avoid this tragedy, gas water heaters have been continuously improved and introduced strong exhaust, flue and balanced gas water heaters. These water heaters greatly improve safety, but installation requires drilling holes in the wall to install exhaust pipes, which is not very convenient and also damages the appearance of the wall. Instant electric water heaters are easy to install and have significant advantages in terms of aesthetics. However, the power of instant electric water heaters is generally relatively high, with certain limitations on their applicability and high requirements for household wiring. They require copper core dedicated lines of at least 4mm2 and electricity meters of at least 20A, and it is best to use air switches. Due to these limitations, this type of water heater cannot be quickly popularized at present.
